It should be a nice time, I fly out the day after my final exam, so it should be a fairly stress-free family visit trip.
Except for the small thing of my body trying to kill me.
You name the symptom, it seems to have found my number. Nausea, headache, insomnia, back ache, projectile vomiting, bleeding from orifices people really shouldn't bleed from, the list goes on. And, joy of joys, my cycle is due while I'm there. Oh, goodie.
Just got back from the ER after the 4th bout of the PV in the past week. Such a fun time with the doctors, and nurses, and weird machines... But at least this one could put an IV in straight. Thank you, Jesus.
I'd say more, but there are about maybe 3 people who will read this that have a 25% chance of caring so I won't.
Bottom Line: I'm gone for a week. No submissions, and if you've gotten used to comments with my Jet smiling at you, well, you'll just have to wait until the 16th, possibly the 17th.

I came out of a stupor to find my arm was entirely brown.
I'll never forget my first thought, "I don't remember being black." '
I asked the nurse why my arm was brown and she told me it was my blood.
I then asked her, "shouldn't it be inside my arm?"
Yeah, I was G-O-N-E. Made calling my mom's work fun, though.
Transferred me three times! My natural smart ass kicked in.
"This is shift speaking."
"I need to speak to ******* ******."
"She's busy. Why?"
"Oh, her daughter's just in the emergency room, staring at the blood on her arm."
Let's just say they got her real quick. Meheheh.

I apparently have very obvious surface veins, but my old training buddy kept missing for some unknown reason.
And his were really hard to find.
Though happily bleeding all over the floor wasn't exactly fun. That's what happens when he forgets to tell you it's done and to press the hole made.......
.... and also what happens if they dig around your arm with 3 needles for bout 20 min.......
